Physical Therapy for
Frozen Shoulder
Also known as adhesive capsulitis, this condition is caused by the shoulder capsule forming scar tissue that "sticks" to the bones in the joint, thus preventing full movement. Progressive stretching by a therapist along with strengthening and home programs can often restore motion without surgery.
